Our Chapter meetings give us the opportunity to get together in fellowship and discuss aviation related topics and upcoming special events. We meet on the 4th Saturday of the month (excluding June through August) at 11am in conjunction with our pancake breakfast fly in at the Sumter County Airport. South Carolina's oldest and most enduring breakfast fly in. Every other Sunday since 1938, pilots and aviation enthusiasts in and near South Carolina have met for breakfast. Pilot or non pilot, everyone is welcome. Check out the schedule at http://www.flyscbc.com/
What better way to preserve the spirit of aviation than by letting young adults experience the thrill of flight through our volunteer planes and pilots.
Held on the 4th Saturday of each month in the main airport terminal building from 9am to 11am. Come fly in for some good ole fashioned pancakes and pilot talk and meet the friendly folks who call the Sumter County Airport their home. No set cost, just a requested donation to the chapter to help cover food expenses. Afterwards, join us for our monthly chapter meetings in the Ben Oliver room and the end of the first row of hangars as you enter the airport across from the Civil Air Patrol.
